Artist's Statement
My artistic perspective focuses on the exploration of life and death through a natural and historical lens, with a specific interest in calling to the intrinsic connection between man and nature. Taking inspiration from the mysticism and potentially averting nature of subjects that touch on topics like crimes against humanity to the functions of the human body, she uses averting topics like this to create conversation about the unknown and and how facing these tough issues reveals an honest reality from holding oneself and others accountable.
